Hello all!
Phew, just linked a few people by request. I'll be popping by more people's blogs and might link them up. But right now, I believe the links I've made are pretty much fun to have a click around. Pretty interesting bunch I'd say. Hey, for some of you out there, soon yeah. I'm still digging through my history for you websites.
Been having trouble finding time to post up new items. Obviously there's courseworks, designs and reports to do, but I'm damn addicted to something! To add to the list of episodes of Naruto, Bleach and some other I really need to catch up on, Saifullah made me watch Heroes. Hell lots of people out there been telling me to watch it since summer. Yes, that includes you Suresh (not them Mohider and Chandra). Dammit. Its been 3 days and I've watched about 15 episodes. Its not one of those series where you could just watch one episode and afford to miss the next few. Yes, I know theres that guy going "Previously on Heroes/Ugly Betty/One Tree Hill...' capping off the past episodes, but this series is different. Not really an addiction but it makes you think "Am I like them... Could I be gifted... Am I like Peter...", and you come back to reality, "BULL$HI+".
Really, for those of you who thought it was just one of those episodes, WRONG! I'd say its like a fusion of the movies X-MEN with CRASH. Those two movies were phenomenal. Imagine them put together by a team advised the guy doing the series LOST. Simply put, watch it.
Anyways, enought blabbering about HEROES. This weekend is the start of fun stuffs. BiB (Bruneians in Birmingham) are sending in a team of elite fighters and they would.... ummm.. I'll stop there. Myself and Afwi took some players from BiB and add some of our old friends to make up another team. The weekend after paintball, theres a function at Cardiff, Dirgahayu Darussalam, which is hosted by the Brunei Cardiff Society (not sure I got that name right). And the following weekend there's BruLeics Games and ICUBS Brunei Nite (Imperial College Bruneian student body, still not sure of the acronym). ICUBS has a play written out called 'The Curse of the Pulut Panggang'. A weekend later, BEG! And this time I have my info right. BruNotts Easter Games. Events competed are Badminton, Futsal, Netball and Squash.
Giler, that will be hell of weekends huh? Best of all, I'll may be there to make a little cover story and post it up here in The Dugout. But no promises.
Anyways, I was on my way to lecture on a Monday morning and to add to the blues I saw the Aston Lake. Share my blues people.
Okies, its close to 2am in the morning and still not feeling any sleepy. But since I'm not really up to finishing my work and watching more HEROES, I'll just turn in anyways cos I got to get up by 7am.
