Record making out of boredom

Hello people,

It seems like I am blogging like once in a week. But its still something right. Today is my first day of holiday and I'm making full use of the first day by sleeping through it.

FACEBOOK-ing

Its amazing how many hours you can drain just by sitting in front of the laptop and clicking around you facebook account. Ranging from looking through pictures up to sneaking into someone's wall and reading who said what and if it concerns you. I'd have to admit I am one of those who checks their facebook at least once a day. With the addition of applications, facebook is a little more fun. Well, I don't actually respond to any application requests and guess where it got me?

Over 1000 requests!! I skimmed through it and there funny and weird applications which appeals to certain people. Tried an application called 'Which DBSK member are you?' and the outcome, no idea why I even tried it. Nyeh.

My BEG 08 weekend

I yet again participated in another competition and this time, destination Nottingham. The train ride took about one and a half hour. The whole team (BruMingham V) continued their sleep during the whole journey. I tried to but can't. Anyways, when we got to Nottingham, I'd say the city wasn't much to look around at. But by GOD the university campus area is damn huge. Looks old fashioned and pretty much like a castle but it sure is something to look at.

All suited up and ready to go with our matching team shirts, the opening ceremony wasn't half bad only to have the PA system go dead on us. Still, the plus point is the singing of the National Anthem. Ahh~ sure brings back memories of standing straight and trying hard to sing along in one single breath. And NO, I did not forget the lyrics. That's anak Brunei for you.

Team BruMingham V and the banner

Our grouping was pretty harsh with Sakura, Matloes and Cardiff ganging up on us to heavy defeats. The lack of training showed when we only managed to score one goal throughout the tournament. The defeats were the only downside of the day. Met alot of my friends there. Even those I haven't seen for quite a while. Yes, that goes for my SYC '05 mates MalOne, MalTu and Nazim. Everybody looked great that day. Well, got elbowed in the face, so no 'cuci mata' for me. But hey, slightly bleeding lip doesn't mean I can't conjure a pick up line or two (wait... I DON'T HAVE ANY!).

Missed Chance: Firing blanks

After we finished our game, I yet again took the open shower. This time nobody was there (sia-sia-pun saja for those who missed out). Then we left the venue and got on the 1900 train back to Birmingham and this time I slept throughtout the whole journey.

By the end of the day, I'd give credits to Sukri since its his first time ever being a goalkeeper and her rocked at it. Also to the rest of the team for contributing sweat and blood (well, the blood part can be skipped) to pushing the BruMingham name one step up to some recognition. Last but not least great thanks to the nice-hardworking-single-available babes (well some of them are kinda taken) who worked through the early hours of the morning in making the awesome banner in attempt to support the team.

Blue or Red: The colour really brings out your... Ummm... Eyes?

I dared her to. And guess what? She did it.

But why she had to go too far?

Someone is just having too much fun. Or rather, someone is distracted?

Hope your weekend was fun as mine!
